When will I receive my order? 

Production lead time is 2 weeks as our products are made to order. Once we get it built, oiled and packaged, we ship it out! You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.

 

How much is shipping? 

All of our products that are shipped to the lower 48 are shipped for FREE!

 

Why doesn’t my board/stand look like the picture on the website? 

As with all solid wood products, colors and grain pattern may vary slightly depending on the batch of wood. All of our products are handmade, so sizes are approximate and may vary slightly. 

 

What is the return policy? 

If there is an issue with the product you receive, please email a picture and description of the damage on the unused product to info@derekjameswoodworking.com within 7 days of receipt. We take great pride in our work and we will be happy to work with you to replace or refund your order. 

If you would like to return your unused product for another reason, please email info@derekjameswoodworking.com within 14 days of receipt. We will send you a prepaid shipping label to return it to us and give you a refund less the cost of shipping. 

 

How do I take care of my board to keep it looking its best? 

Hand wash your board as needed with warm water and a mild dish detergent. Do not submerge in water or put in dishwasher. Towel off and allow to air dry completely. 

Recondition the board with DJW Board Balm periodically or when the board begins to appear dry. Apply a liberal amount of Board Balm using a cotton cloth and rub into the wood in a circular motion. Apply to all sides of the board. Let the board sit for 5-10 minutes to allow the balm to penetrate into the wood. Wipe off the excess with a clean cloth and buff in a circular motion until all of the excess balm is removed.
