We had so much fun building this buffet table for Derek's parents. They were looking for something with a modern farmhouse feel that complemented their white oak dining room table.
The buffet table features three drawers, as well as two doors with bead board detail, for plenty of closed storage for the clutter you don't want your guests to see. The closed storage is complemented by a couple of open shelves to display your wine and other decorations. We made the shelves stained white oak to match the top and really pop against the painted base.
We carried the bead board detail over to the sides of the buffet. And it's all finished off with bun feet on the bottom.
And last but not least, the top adds the perfect finishing touch. This top is quarter sawn white oak, stained to match the dining room table that sits nearby. It really pops against the painted base.
